Mission Statement

Chords & Keys offers individualized, research-based music instruction by Katherine Kuhfuss, a certified music teacher with years of experience in classroom instruction and private lessons. More than just typical "piano/voice lessons," Katherine uses her broad background in music theory and education to craft customized and comprehensive music learning experiences for her students. By focusing on the musician as a whole - not just specific skills in piano and voice - Katherine helps each of her students become not just a piano player or singer, but a musician. 

Chords & Keys is truly committed to the vision of providing quality music education for all levels of learning, from advanced students wanting to pursue a degree in music to students just beginning their musical journey. Katherine’s background spans years of providing intensive music instruction to a broad range of students, giving her the unique ability to meet the exact needs of all learners - beginning to advanced.
